Do you have 75 hours of HHA training?
Do you have 2 years of experience as an HHA?

Better Home Care is looking for hospice Home Health Aides (HHA). Hospice HHA provides patients with personal care at home under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. Caring for patients in their homes will delay or prevent their placement in the nursing home.

Hospice Home Health Aide tasks include:

Assist patient will personal hygiene, provide nutritional support, ambulation, and exercise.
Report patient's condition to assigned Registered Nurse.
Bedside visits (listening, writing letter, reading).
Massage, application of lotion to skin.
Perineal Care, incontinent care.
Bathing, grooming, dressing, nail care, oral hygiene.
Taking patient for outside walk.
Communication with family.

HHA should have the following:

Good oral and written communication skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Hospice experience preferred.
